Wanted to send a shout out to all of you during this Labor Day Weekend. We all work hard for the money! Because of all of you #lularoetinasmothers is able to give back through my sales of LuLaRoe. In the last 30 days contributions to providing yoga mats in a classroom were given...school supplies were purchased and donated, back to school outfits were provided, money donations for teachers classrooms were made and a contribution to Susan G Komen....giving back in total of nearly $1,000. I am humbled and proud that through LuLaRoe this can be done. You choose where you spend your dollars and thank you for choosing to spend them with my small business allowing these contributions to be made. Thank you! #becauseoflularoe #thatsmyrealwhy

Where is your ‘LuLa Like Johnny Found You Sitting in a Corner’ koozie? Today’s winner of a legging or Cassie Pencil Skirt is Marcie. “Everyone is Jealous of Sock Monkey’s Koozie” Join us in the Rock Shop tonight for a pop up and in my VIP on the 8th. Tons of LuLa Fun. Love and LuLa Tina Prints and patterns…some people love them and some people shy away from them. Well whatever your preference LuLaRoe can help you out! For a fun legging giveaway I asked my group to post a picture of their favorite LuLaRoe Summer print. Kimberly is the winner with her flying pig leggings. She said they have brought so many summer smiles! One of my fav’s besides my watermelon prints of course is this bomb pop Julia I scored from a fellow LuLa sister. When I think of pomp pops I am instantly reminded of playing outside as a kid and ‘taking my popsicle outside so it didn’t melt all over in the house’. Ok, so we all know the part. Baby shyly says while is awe of Johnny “I carried a watermelon”. That was me…”So I sell LuLaRoe”. I would say it so softly that I wonder how anyone took me seriously let alone would want to know what LuLaRoewas. I was sold on the clothing line and my business but I just didn’t have my groove. I would be caught off guard and not prepared when people asked me about it and I wasn’t wearing LuLaRoe items frequently either. I wanted to offer my you all more options; therefore, I would not want to take any pieces from my inventory. Then I started wearing it daily. Various styles with all different prints and patterns. That’s when I started to grow my confidence. Sure I loved the clothes and owned a few pieces but now I began to wear them daily. It very soon became clear that yes, yes these clothes can be worn while doing anything. Work, home or vacation. There is a piece and print for everything. When you incorporate something into your everyday life it’s so easy to gain confidence. Say it loud and proud…I carried a watermelon!
Luv & LuLa Tina Convention was July 14th-16th in Southern California. As I sit here and type thinking about LuLaRoe as a lifestyle I reread the dates and ponder how it’s been 2 weeks and I haven’t completed my blog entry telling you all about convention. Convention was not only amazing but it blew up the social network scene. Well, I immediately go back to ‘LuLaRoe as a lifestyle’ as to my tardiness, but in the most amazing way. Since returning from convention which was just a 9 days ago since I extended convention into a family vacation, I have had some exciting stuff go down. 9 Amazing Woman have decided to ‘Join the Movement’ with LuLaRoe on #teamrockandroe ---9! We have 9 new members of our team! Additionally, 2 people have onboarded and one on one calls are happening with more individuals to Join the Movement as well. #lularoetinasmothers also hosted 4 online pop up parties along with hosting an additional party with #teamrockandroe in the Rock Shop. 65 orders need to be packed and delivered/shipped and all inventory must be packed up for in home pop ups this Tuesday and Thursday. Exciting stuff which makes me super pumped especially after attending convention.
So Convention…I left humbled, appreciative, thankful and proud. Listening to Deanne and Mark (owners of LuLaRoe) speak is more than uplifting. Simon Sinek was the key note speaker on Friday and I must say that he is one of the best speakers in regards to leadership. I will report back on a couple of his books I ordered. I literally chased down Patrick (head designer) to obtain a selfie too. Sessions were held throughout the day on various LuLaRoe topics from designing and styling to the compensation plan should you choose to build a team. The atmosphere throughout the conference was so uplifting and positive. It made me not want to leave or rather leave and shout out to everyone how awesome this company and its leaders truly are! Xyola and I popped by the LuLaRoe office to get a quick selfie. We hopped on a tour with Ashley. Every single person at the office said hello for starters. Not sure I have walked past 35+ people anywhere that all said hello, hi, how are you? Right…culture maybe?! What rock star cool is we got a sneak people at all the leadership and training that LuLaRoe is working on rolling out to all their consultants. The company is growing and they are helping to provide the tools for us to grow as individuals as well. Not only did we get a sneak people but Ashley, Ben and Terrell stopped what they were doing as if it was no big deal and spoke with us. This probably means the most…How many times have you ‘popped in’ somewhere and someone doesn’t act annoyed that you interrupted them? As you can see below it was an experience for my daughter as well! Convention: My Takeaway LuLaRoe is changing lives! They care. They understand. They support. They believe. They Inspire. LuLaRoe is changing families and individual’s financial situation. Not through a promise of ‘signing someone up’ and you will get rich. Through a promise of if you work hard and give willingly you will grow yourself and your bank account. LuLaRoe is a leader. If you are willing to learn, listen and communicate LuLaRoe will help you personally and in your business. LuLaRoe is empowerment. Let LuLaRoe, whether you are a consultant or customer, empower you. Empower you with self-confidence! You.Are.Beautiful Love and LuLa Tina Last week I went to the LuLaRoe convention in Corona, CA. I have lots to share about the convention, the experience and LuLaRoe! However, when I asked my daughter to write about our trip to the LuLaRoe office this is what she wrote. It speaks for itself...I had to share immediately!
'We went to stop by the LuLaRoe warehouse to take a quick selfie and ended up going on a tour that showed us the warehouse and taught us amazing leadership skills. When we first got started on the tour we saw Deanne's office. It was bright and very colorful. Then we went upstairs and saw where all the initial orders got packaged and shipped out to you. Everyone that was there working knew what they had to do and got it done. Next we went to where people that work for the company had their offices. We met two guys who showed us the four leadership qualities to have people want to follow you. We learned many techniques and I learned what the company was really about. I thought it was just clothing but it's not. It's about empowering women and changing the world with fashion. It was an incredible experience that I will never forget.'-Xyola Busch, 13 My LuLa business…well it has my name but it’s just not me! My business wouldn’t be where it’s at today without my crew! I knew if I personally was going to be successful I had to recruit from within some help. The LuLa opportunity is definitely something one can handle on their own, but for me I just need assistance to balance. Obviously, I was going to recruit my daughter, Xyola. She’s 13 and loves trips to the mall so she needs extra cash and what a great opportunity for her to work to earn extra money. She’s does amazing at matching up outfits…not my strong suit lol. Then enter my cousin. Her name is Mandi but I call her Joey. Sometimes she a hot mess but the great LuLa digs she gets help keep her a little less of a hot mess. We are seven years apart but have been close since she was born. I used to spend my summers babysitting her and learning from my aunt how to shop the sales at Target. Joey was my first excited follower to buy and wear the clothes when I started my LuLaRoe journey. Actually, she has always supported me on anything I have done. What a great opportunity to incorporate my family. We all get to spend more time together, brainstorm ways to get the awesome LuLaRoe pieces into the hands of many after they arrive on my doorstep & we all earn extra money. Triple win…Thanks LuLaRoe. If you have thought about ‘Joining the Movement’---trust me, now is the time. Contact me for details! Love & LuLa
Undoubtedly Dirty Dancing is one of my favorite movies. I vaguely remember watching it via VHS when I was 8 years old. The moment when Johnny burst through the doors at Kellermans and walks over to Baby just makes me want to sit up straighter in my chair. This past Christmas my cousin gave me sign which said “Dance Like Johnny Found you Sitting in a Corner”. It was absolutely one of the most meaningful gifts. She may not know it but to me those words radiate many positive feelings and actions. Here’s my interpretation of how these words have been incorporated into my LuLa Business and my life.
Confident-When Johnny reaches out his hand to get Baby out of the corner she was filled with the most confidence to get up on the stage. May all the confidence help me (and my team) to rule the LuLa stage we build for ourselves. Joyous-I think this is the movie summed up in one word. I think joyous is one word that sums up LuLaRoe also. Wearing the clothes makes me happy and hearing from my customers how they found the perfect piece…they are filled with happiness. Let us not brush off how truly flattering the clothes really are for any size or body shape. Impulsive-Yep, she decided to help out and get up on a stage in front of people and perform even though she knew nothing about it. So I know a little about fashion, not a ton. However, I do know what comfy and flattering clothes are. So I jumped in 100%. Yes, I am learning as I go but through my impulsiveness I am building a business. Encouraged-How can you not be encouraged when you see Baby learn to dance. LuLaRoe encourages me to challenge myself to treat my business like a business. LuLaRoe encourages woman to step outside their comfort zone to try patterns/prints/styles that they would not normally wear. Energetic-Watching the last dance of the season fills me with energy. Whether I am 8 or 38 watching this dance makes me feel as though I can conquer any to do list. Some days you need that energy to just get it all done. Thankful-Dirty Dancing references seem to pop up a lot around me…probably because most of my friends know I am a fan. Be thankful for the little things right…like this movie that for some reason I loved so much I can remember watching it when I was 8. I don’t seem to remember anything else specifically from that time in my life. I am thankful for my LuLaRoe business and my customers that have made it possible. A one liner…basis from a movie…and had a significant impact on me. Follow me through my LuLaRoe journey here on my blog site. I am a mom of 2, commute 2 hours a day and work full time in addition to my LuLaRoe business. This blog is my insight on how LuLaRoe is not just a piece of clothing to add to your wardrobe it’s a lifestyle .- Tina |
